About the Seminar
Hot atomic vapors offer a robust and scalable platform for modern quantum technologies. Their simple experimental infrastructure, strong optical transitions, and compatibility with compact vapor-cell and photonic platforms make them attractive for quantum sensing, metrology, spectroscopy, and nonlinear optics.
The seminar will connect Armenian and German research groups working on atomic systems, vapor-cell technologies, coherent light–matter interaction, and integrated photonic approaches. A central aim is to strengthen existing collaborations, create new links between laboratories, and support early-career researchers through direct scientific exchange.
